“We wanted to educate cataract patients and prepare them for their virtual cataract evaluation just as we would an in-office visit. We utilize Surgiorithm in a very similar way to what we’ve done before. Prior to the telehealth exam, the patient receives a text message with a link to Surgiorithm’s questionnaire. Answers to the questionnaire are focused to a snapshot called the Patient Insight Report, which is shared with the doctor and the surgical team so they can have a very focused conversation with the patient during the telehealth visit.”
